2015 PumpkinFest:
Friday - Saturday, October 30th - 31st

The annual PumpkinFest is now a tradition in Downtown Dayton, Tennessee! The festival offers an alternative to traditional Halloween activities. Two days of Fall Festival Fun, Food, Games, Entertainment & Halloween festivities for the whole family!

Join us for music & entertainment, a Movie in the Park after Dark, and Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest on Friday night! The FUN continues Saturday with more music & entertainment, Downtown “Treating”, Costume Contests for ALL ages & come share your talents in the "Scary-oke" on Halloween Night!

Food and Craft Vendor Booths will be set-up on the Courthouse lawn

Scopes Trial Play & Festival

Featuring "Front Page News," a play with music produced in collaboration with Crossville, Tennessee's renowned Cumberland County Playhouse, performed in the actual Rhea County Courthouse Scopes Trial Courtroom! Enjoy the re-enactment of portions of the Scopes-Evolution Trial of 1925, and also the story about how the famous trial came to be litigated in the small southern of Dayton, Tennessee!
